Survey and Installation Guide

1: Site Survey

Our first step is to explain to the customer what would be required to install the Water Cooler at their site.

2: Water Cooler Installation

1: Once the unit and filtration system flushing procedures are complete, determine the best installation location. Consider user convenience, electrical access, water access and drain access if applicable. The unit performs optimally if within 20 feet of a cold water supply line (connect only to a cold water supply) and drain. Do not place unit where it will be exposed to train, freezing temperatures or direct sunlight.

2:The rear of the unit should be installed at least 2" (5cm) from any vertical surface to ensure proper air circulation.

3: Always check local plumbing codes before tapping into water supply line. Tap into the supply line with a tapping valve faucet fitting ball valve, solder tee or similar device.

4: Use only 1/4" OD plastic tubing to connect your water supply to the cooler water inlet port. This inlet is a quick connect fitting. units are shipped with plugs in each fitting. Remove the plugs prior to insterting water supply or drain line. A watrer shut off valve (not included) is recommended between the inlet connection to the cooler and the water supply connection.

5: Verify the hot tank switch is in the "off" position (O). Plug power cord into receptacle.

6: Turn on water supply to cooler then check for leaks.

7: Check for filtered water production.

8: Allow cold water tank to fill then purge air from hot tank by dpressing the hot tank faucet lever until water pours freely (your unit is equipped with a hot tank safer faucet to avoid accidental activation, this requires the red cup lever and red faucet button to be depressed wsimultaneously to allow water to dispense). Turn hot tank swith to "on" position (I).

9: Turn hot tank swithc off and shut off water supply. Drain water from tanks. Turn water suuply on and refill the unit, repeat. Allow unit to refill completely, purge air from hot tank and turn hot tank on. 30 minutes after the unit ahs been refilled it should reach optimum hot and cold temperature.

3: Tank Sanitisation:

Tank sanitisation is recommended with each filter replacement of if unit sits unused for longer than 4 days

1: Add 1 teaspoon of bleach ( or other sanitizing agent) per gallon of water to reservoir tank

2: Press dispensing lever until cleaning solution is dispensed

3: Allow unit to sit for 10 minutes

4: Drain all water from unit

5: Fill tank with fresh water, dispense/drain and repeat twice

4: Filter Flushing Procedure:

All carbon filters should be flushed free of carbon particles prior to usage on initial set up and with every filter change. In unit flushing procedure (after unit is installed):

1: Turn water supply off

2: Draw a minimum of 16 ounces of water from the cold water reservoir through the faucet

3: Disconnect 1/4" (blue) water outlet tube from carbon filter housing (be prepared for a small amount of water to exit the tubing)

4: Connect enough 1/4" tubing to filter outlet to extend to drain or large water holding container

5: Turn water supply on and allow water to flush through filters for 5 minutes or until the water appears clear of any gray particles or discoloration

6: Turn water supply off and reconnect blue filter water outlet tube ( from filter to reservoir) to the carbon filter.

7: Turn water supply on and allow reservoir to fille, CHECK FOR LEAKS
